Lucky 15 Bet Calculator
To work out how much you can win from this bet, it’s suggested you use a lucky 15 bet calculator. This can tell you exactly how much you stand to win depending on which of your se-lections are successful. Since there are so many selections and different bet types to factor in, a lucky 15 bet calculator can be a lot quicker than if you were to work out the possible payouts yourself. Let’s have a look at how the individual bets that make up the lucky 15 are calculated.
For the singles, it’s straightforward enough. If your selection wins, this bet will pay out. For each of the doubles, both selections need to win for you to receive a payout. Your stake goes to-wards the first selection winning; should the first selection win, your payout is used as the stake for the second selection. For a double bet to pay out, both selections need to win.Treble bets work in the same way as doubles, except there are three selections, not two. Therefore, all three selections need to win for you to be paid. The same applies for the four-fold accumulator: have all four selections win and this bet will reward you with a payout.
With double, treble and four-fold accumulators, the more selections there are, the riskier the bets are. This is because if just one selection doesn’t win, you won’t be paid. However, if all selections covered by the bet win, your payout can be quite substantial. In fact, the payouts for these bets are higher than if you were to bet on the selections individually.

Here’s a full list of the bets that make up the lucky 15 bet:
- One four-fold accumulator covering selections 1, 2, 3 and 4
- Four trebles: one for selections 1, 2 and 3; one for selection 1, 2 and 4; one for selections 1, 3 and 4; and one for selections 2, 3 and 4
- Six doubles: one for selections 1 and 2; one for selections 1 and 3; one for se-lections 1 and 4; one for selections 2 and 3; one for selections 2 and 4; and one for selec-tions 3 and 4
- Four singles, each covering a single selection
Since there are so many individual bets, the lucky 15 can be quite a costly bet to place. However, should all of your selections win, the bet can actually be quite lucrative.
Let’s have a look at an example of a lucky 15 bet. We’ll keep the stake and odds for the se-lections easy. We’ll say the total bet is £150 – in other words, it’s a £10 wager on all 15 bets that make up the lucky 15. All four selections have odds of 1/1. Put this information into a bet calculator for lucky 15 bets and you would get a return of £880, which would result in a profit of £730. Before placing this bet, use the bet calculator for your lucky 15 bets and see how much you stand to win for every possible outcome from your four selections.
Lucky 15 Bet
A lucky 15 bet, as its name implies, is a bet that’s made up of 15 separate bets covering a total of four selections. Consisting of four singles, six doubles, four trebles and a four-fold accumulator (a single bet covering four selections). Lucky 15 bets are very similar to yankee bets – the only difference is that lucky 15 bets include four single bets, whereas yankee bets don’t. The main advantage of these bets is that only one of your selections needs to be correct for you to receive a payout.
Top Tip: Lucky 15 bet is great for improving your chance of winning a bet consisting of four premier league fixtures.
To give you a better idea of how lucky 15 bets work, we’ve put together the following table.
From looking at the table, you can see that each one of the four selections is covered by an equal number of bets. The four selections are all covered by one single bet, three double bets, three treble bets and the four-fold accumulator. Since lucky 15 bets include single bets, you need just one selection to be correct in order to win. However, it goes without saying that the more winning selections there are, the bigger your total payout and therefore profit will be.
What’s worth pointing out is that lucky 15 bets can be quite expensive. This is because you’re basically placing 15 different bets in one go. If you see a £1 lucky 15 being mentioned, what this means is that each individual bet is worth £1 and that the total cost spent on the lucky 15 bet is £15.
Selection A | Selection B | Selection C | Selection D | |
Single Bet 1 | x | |||
Single Bet 2 | x | |||
Single Bet 3 | x | |||
Single Bet 4 | x | |||
Double Bet 1 | x | x | ||
Double Bet 2 | x | x | ||
Double Bet 3 | x | x | ||
Double Bet 4 | x | x | ||
Double Bet 5 | x | x | ||
Double Bet 6 | x | x | ||
Treble Bet 1 | x | x | x | |
Treble Bet 2 | x | x | x | |
Treble Bet 3 | x | x | x | |
Treble Bet 4 | x | x | x | |
Four-fold Accumulator | x | x | x | x |
If one selection/event wins, you’ll win one bet, i.e. the single bet that covers that particular selection. Should two selections win, you’ll win three bets: two single bets for each of the selections, plus the double bet that covers both selections. If three selections win, you’ll win seven bets: three singles for each of the selections, plus three doubles that each cover two of the selections, plus a treble bet that covers all three selections.
Finally, if all four selections win, you’ll win all 15 of the lucky 15 bets. Most online sportsbook sites have a minimum of £1 so you are up for at least a £15 bet on a lucky 15.
Top Tip: Four single winning bets of £1 each would return £8; whereas four winning bets using Lucky 15 would return £88

How To Work Out A Lucky 15 Bet
Let’s have a closer look at the mechanics of how lucky 15 bets work and pay out. Forthis example, we’ll say the four selections you pick are football matches; tokeep things simple, we’ll also say that all selections have the same basic odds of 2/1.
First of all, we’ll look at the single bets. For each of these to pay out, therespective team needs to win. Let’s say you place £1 on each of the singlebets. If one of them pays out, you’ll receive £3, of which £2 will be profitand £1 will be your bet being returned to you. The figure of £3 is reached bytaking your initial bet (£1), dividing it by the right-hand number of the odds and multiplying it by the left-hand number of the odds.
For double bets, trebles and the four-fold accumulator, working out the payout is a little bit more complicated. The way these bets work, the payout for the first selection is the stake for the second and so on.
So for double bets, each one pays out if two particular selections win. If you’re placing a £1 double bet with odds of 2/1, the payout for the first selection would be £3. This would then be the stake for the second selection, for which the payout would be £9.
For trebles, you do the same calculations as you would for doubles, only you’re adding a third selection. You also need three selections to win for these bets to pay out. So for your second selection, you have a payout of £9. This would be used as the stake for your third selection, which would in turn produce a payout of £27.
Let’s add the total winnings so far together. There are four single bets, each paying out £3, for a total of £12. Then there are six double bets, each paying out £9 – the total would be £54. For the four trebles, each one has a payout of £27 and together their payout is £108. Therefore, the payout for all singles, doubles and trebles combined with £1 on each bet at odds of 2/1 would be £174.
Now there’s just the four-fold accumulator to add in. Again, this works like a double treble bet, except you’ve got four selections to calculate. If we’re working with a £1 four-fold accumulator at odds of 2/1, the first selection pays out £3; the second pays out £9; the third pays out £27; finally, the fourth selection offers a total payout for bet of £81.
So to give you an idea of how lucky 15 bets work and how lucrative can be, a £1 bet (£15 in total) with all selections at odds of 2/1 rewards you with £255 – that is, if all four selections win. Since you made an initial bet of £15, your profit for such a bet would be £240.
